Visaka, established in the year 1981, is the manufacturer of corrugated cement fiber sheets. The production unit has a capacity of 36,000 tons per year, in 1985 the first factory in Patancheru, Andhra Pradesh commenced the commercial production of cement sheets. The company diversified into textile yarn manufacturing in the year 1992. They used Airjet spinning technology as a challenge and successfully established the factory in Nagpur to produce 2000 tons of man-made fiber yarns per year. They have always focused on growth plan, as a result of which they have now grown to the position of second largest cement sheet manufacturer in India. The company has eight factories spread across the country that produce about 750,000 tons of corrugated cement sheets per year.The Plant has 31 MURATA Twinjet spinning machines and 112 Two-For-One twisting machines, which produce about 9,000 tons of yarns per year.

In 2009, the fibre-cement board & panel division was established and catered the need of modern construction designs. The fibre-cement board & panel division first factory was established in Miryalaguda, Andhra Pradesh and the second was established in the year 2013 in Daund, Maharashtra. This division has a capacity of 100,000 tonnes of fiber cement sheets per annum. This division also produces innovative dry-wall panels of 2 feet width and 11 feet height with thickness of 50 mm or 75 mm. The wall panels help houses to construct partition and exterior walls. Its turnover touched Rs.925 crores during the financial year 2012-13. They also focus on corporate social responsibility and provide health, water and education to the under-privileged and poor people catering the weaker section of the society.
