Usarghav sandap master plan in conceived as a self-sufficient city for middle income and aspirant first time buyers. The master plan draws inspiration from the courtyard planning form seen in traditional Indian cities. The city is organized in such a way that the elements are arranged along the strong north south axis with a central 8.5 acres green space. The transportation network along the periphery enhances the pedestrian experience and the city ends are tied up with civic amenity buildings. The master plan is divided into various blocks of small neighbourhoods, with the streets creating a strong connect from public to private. The master plan structures represents the principles of new urbanism with clearly defined centres, edges and neighbourhoods. The planning contains a distinct hierarchy of networks and structures and open spaces.
