An earth construction with stone arches, east light, top lighting and no fans. The basement provided mud for the blocks & mortar used in the construction. The building harvests 90,000 litres of rainwater (20,000 from the neightbours), reuses washing machine water, uses solar energy for cooking, lighting and water heating. The house harbours the owner, her husband, son and dog as well as slaves who labour in the basement as part of an architectural practice.
