Pushkar DhawalePushkar Dhawale, is an Architect and Urban and Regional Planner by profession. He has done his bachelor's in architecture from Vivekanand Institute Technology, Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil college of Architecture (VIT?s PVP COA), Pune, Maharashtra and completed his masters in Urban and Regional planning from School of Planning and architecture (SPA) Bhopal. As an architect, he has worked for one year in the field of core architecture and was involved in the projects of Green Buildings, residential and Interiors. Later worked as a Senior Research assistant with TRIPP ? IIT, Delhi on the research based transport projects like preparation of BRTS Evaluation and Design Tool (BEAD), Indian Road Congress (IRC) code development, Innovation in Urban roads. With SGArchitects he has worked on the projects like BRTS corridor designing for Pune and Delhi city, NMT infrastructure designing for Naya-Raipur city and Evaluation of BRTS corridors with the help of BEAD tool for many cities. Presently he has a work experience of 2 years in sustainable public transport and non-motorized infrastructure and developed his core area of interest in this field.
