The striking architecture of Nu Skin's China Headquarters evolved from the "Inside-out", starting with a unique journey that takes visitors to the very heart of the company
From its striking forms to its innovative combination of functions, the new China Headquarters for Nu Skin offers an iconic example of architecture that seems to 'grow' directly from the unique corporate culture and aspirations of its users. Here, the emotional appeal of a showspace converges with the hard-edged utility of a workspace - and does it seamlessly, intuitively, and sustainably.
How it got this way is as fascinating as the end-product itself. The project originated from Nu Skin's realisation that its previous, decentralised non-purpose-built China headquarters lacked the space, facilities and quality to support its fast-growing customer and distributor base in the country. Having secured a greenfield site near Shanghai for their future home, the company began envisioning what would become an unusually ambitious project brief.
