During 1970`s, PG as an associate architect with Ar. Satish Grover designed the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration Punjab campus in Chandigarh. The campus is spread over 10 acres tract of land consisting of a Convention cum Exhibition Center, an Academic block, Hostels, Guest block and other ancillary facilities. The complex has a climate responsive design to ensure well being of its occupants. The extensive use of brise soleil reduces direct sunlight in interiors and also imparts an exemplary Chandigarh character to the complex. The moving edges of the building add dynamism to the environment which is further enhanced by the undulating pergolas. The colossal columns impart verticality to the buildings, thereby accentuating them. The central landscaped courtyard and interior details like Terrazzo flooring, wooden cladding, textured paints, coffer ceiling reflect the meticulous working. Currently PG is designing interiors of the auditorium in the complex.
