Kala Ghoda Arts Festival Mumbai 2017

After closing the 2016 edition on 17th February, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival will open doors its doors next in 2017 between 4th and 12th February.

  • With a kaleidoscope of music, dance, theatre, literature, food, street stalls, cinema, workshops, visual arts, urban design and architecture and heritage walks in store, the Festival will continue to present a melange of arts for the city to savour.
    • The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is a community celebration of the arts within one of the most beautiful and historic precincts of Mumbai, The Kala Ghoda Art District.
    • It is open to all, free of charge.
    • The Festival has grown exponentially, and is hugely successful, drawing over 150,000 people from all over the city. KGAF 2016 hosted over 600 events across 12 days.
    • Funds raised from the festival go towards the restoration and upkeep of the area. Several heritage buildings and institutions in the area have benefited from this.
