The layout for a new Film Production office at Juhu, incorporated a new way of looking at workspaces. We created a zoning of communal workplaces, and areas with greens and views, to articulate a relaxation-circuit path within the office fit-out.
The articulation of these interconnected spaces created the basic concept for the office. We conceived of a walk within the office space, that could serve as a release from the rigours of desk-work.
Spaces within the office created loose film references through installations, like the deconstructed film projector, amidst smaller graphical details. The idea was to consciously not create a themed environment, which has a shorter shelf-life.
The conference room at the Production office featured a collaborative workspace for office brainstormings and larger meetings. We kitted it out with all the usual suspects, and opened up nice views to the city.
The main work areas in the office featured a custom designed tube-lighting fixture, adjustable for varying intensities of light usage, for different times of the day. A double height workstation allows two kinds of usage as well, with swivel black-white boards.
Views showing the indoor-outdoor interaction between certain sections of the office, to create a bright, happy day-washed space. The idea was to make the Office a highly productive workspace, with a slight film bias
