Export Furniture Exhibition Kuala Lumpur 2019

The Export Furniture Exhibition (EFE), one of the region's most important and comprehensive event in the furniture industry calendar will debut its 15th edition from 9 to 12 March 2019 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) for the fourth consecutive year. KLCC adjacent to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, provides the ideal accessible venue; in the centre of Kuala Lumpur with excellent links for exhibitors and buyers alike.

The four-day event spread over 30,000 square metres and with more than 300 exhibitors, you will find all the main Malaysian and many international brands here - giving you a complete in depth representation of what's available in the furniture and furnishings industry today and, just as important, the latest trends and designs.

Organized by EFE Expo Sdn Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary company of the Malaysian Furniture Council (MFC), don't miss out on one of the biggest furniture trade exhibitions of the year. The EFE Best Booth & Best Product Competition aims to offer a platform for exhibitors and its designers to demonstrate their creativity, talent, innovation, and to encourage more exhibitors and newcomers to join the furniture design industry. Attractive prizes in cash rebates, trophies, certificate of appreciation and complimentary ads awaits all winners for their efforts and creativity.


In line with the National Timber Industry Policy (NATIP), to enable the target of RM16 billion export value to be achieved in the year 2020, EFE in collaboration with Malaysian Furniture Promotion Council (MFPC), Malaysia Timber Industry Board (MTIB) and the local universities have arranged seminar topics of interest within the furniture industry including world furniture market trends and furniture designs. These seminars would provide access to new trends and world furniture markets.

Professional Designers Programme (PDP)

The successful debut of the Professional Designers Programme (PDP) has with the National Timber Policy (NATIP) in mind, transited as the Furniture Design Development Project that will enable the target of RM 16 billion export value to be achieved in the year 2020. PDP is creating a pool of Young Designers that will benefit the Malaysian furniture industry by adding value to current production. Mooted by the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) and in collaboration with Malaysian Furniture Promotion Council (MFPC), we envisage to take research in furniture design to the next level through the development of design with Professional Designers and the Malaysian furniture Manufacturers.
