C P KukrejaC.P. Kukreja is a legendary Architect. He has made a significant contribution in the field of Architecture in the last four decades not only in India but at the global level. What started as his modest two man firm has today become not only one of India's largest architectural practice with 150 professionals but also has been selected amongst the top 50 firms in the world.
In the late 1960s with post graduate degrees from Australia and Canada, Kukreja took a conscious decision to return to India when most professionals chose to work abroad. He won an international competition to design the Jawaharlal Nehru University. Over the years he has won significant architectural competitions.
C.P. Kukreja has designed landmark projects in every category such as Education (Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow), Hospitals (Sir Ganga Ram Hospital); Housing (Indian Foreign Service Officers, Mayur Vihar); Industries (Tata Motors, Lucknow); Offices (Head Quarters of Comptroller & Auditor General of India). Iconic projects include the Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Rumtek Monastery (Karampa International Buddhist Institute, Delhi) International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, Renovation of Vigyan Bhawan for NAM and CHOGM conferences. C.P. Kukreja has worked with clients from almost all corners of the globe and undertaken projects internationally including those in the Middle East, Russia, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Nepal.
