Buildtech Asia Singapore 2017

Hosted by Building Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA), and held during the Singapore Construction Productivity Week (SCPW), BuildTech Asia 2017 is now into its 7th edition and focuses on technologies that address the challenges of building and construction across different vertical industries. BuildTech Asia 2017 is 3-day trade event dedicated to make a difference to the future of the industry.

In the last staging, over 100 exhibiting brands showcased the latest productive and cutting edge technologies from construction machinery to quality finishes, building and architectural solutions. Robotics and Internet of Things (IoT) technology were also on display alongside 3D concrete printers, immersive Big Data and Virtual Reality applications. Some 7000 visitors from 32 countries had the opportunity to learn about the future of construction with the use of applied technology and building materials.


Co-located and held in conjunction with BuildTech Asia 2017, the SCAL Built Environment Summit 2017 has been established as the platform for the built environment industry and in addition to this year's conference is the inaugural edition of the SMART Women of the Built Environment.

Uniting leaders across the built environment value chain, to share perspectives on their respective roles, as Singapore prepares for the future economy. Expect discussions centering on 'The Future of Construction' report by the World Economic Forum and the 'Construction Industry Transformation Roadmap' developed as part of recommendations by Singapore's Committee on the Future Economy.

Organised by Sphere Exhibits Pte Ltd, The Prestressed and Precast Concrete Society and Structural Engineering World Congress the conference showcases successful women engineers from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Australia and discuss ways to promote equal gender participation in the built environment sector. Join us as they share their challenges and victories in the male-dominated industry.
