Anita S. Shah

Anita S. ShahAnita S. Shah has completed G.D. Arch from L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai in 1992. She was awarded Most Outstanding Student in Architecture from the Rotary Club Of Bombay West. She is a registered architect with the Council of Architects New Delhi and a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) and Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID). Apart from their professional work, both Sandeep and Anita are also deeply involved in Social and Charity work. Through the J. B. Shah Foundation (named after Late Mr. Jitendra B. Shah, Sandeep's father who was an institution in himself, an epitome of selfless work - an educationalist, businessman, philosopher and guide) the goal is to spread education amongst the under-privileged section of society by way of providing books, school fees and counseling to students Mr. Sandeep J. Shah is also a trustee of the Virchand Panachand Shah Trust. This family trust has under its wings, a play school, primary and secondary schools, girls and boys hostels, a rehabilitation centre and a hospital where apart from other treatments approximately 20,000 cataract operations are performed per year out of which more than 80% are free of cost. All these facilities are located at Virnagar, a town near Rajkot, Gujarat.
