Adreesh Chakraborty

Adreesh Chakraborty completed his Bachelor of Architecture from Sushant School of Art and Architecture in 2003. His initial experience as an architect was focused on specializing in climate responsive and energy efficient projects with hands-on experience in designing and coordinating institutional projects and townships. He helped develop an online training package for climate design as a tool to aid building professionals. Adreesh has further worked on hospitals, resorts, housing and high-end residential projects as a senior architect.

Since the establishment of 42mm he has successfully completed a large variety of architectural projects ranging from IT buildings, luxury homes to interiors for corporate offices, retail chains, clubs and restaurants. He is also involved in driving pilot projects for active-solar energy integration in building and large-scale infrastructure projects. Keen on integrating his practice with academia, Adreesh, co-authored, 'Transformation of commercial areas in New Delhi - Organic growth and planned development', a paper that was published by the IX Coloquio Internacional de Geocritica, and presented by him at Porto Alegre, Brazil. He was also a visiting faculty for the Undergraduate Housing Studio at Sushant School of Art and Architecture.
