The Idea is based on "Auditorium as a Music instrument": the External wooden Shell is a metaphor of acoustical music instruments and anticipates the internal ideas of organic wavy shapes belonging from the idea of acoustic waves.
Geometrically, often the surfaces intersect at seemingly random angles, removing a coherent sense of depth.
The background and object planes interpenetrate one another to create the shallow ambiguous space, one of organic architecture's distinct characteristics.
This is the principle that we have used as the basis for doing the interior design of this auditorium. The color, the material texture and the lighting all contribute to the warmth generated inside the hall.
The arrangement of lights on the walls and the ceiling are in coherence with the design scheme of the building and the entrance lobby.
The project is developed in joint venture with UPA Italia and in consultation with Er. M. Brugola
