At the UNBOX Design Festival, we participated closely with the organising studios in various capacities. Our project kickstarted with an high energy Live Sketching gig with BLOT!, Pinksoda and Nucleya, in an exciting mash-up.
The idea was to create a new expression in the performance space, and integrate live drawing into a mash-up. We worked on an improvised sketch-up, in a fun collaborative project with amazing performers.
We showcased our ongoing Bandra Project at Unbox as well. The project explores pedestrianism as an organising principle for larger initiatives, and we opened it up at UNBOX for feedback and comment.
The Bandra project was presented to a diverse set of attendees at the festival, and allowed us to assimilate varied feedback into the project.
The Bandra project was the kickstarter for a pedestrianism workshop at UNBOX, which explored parallels between Hauz Khas Village and Bandra, as sister villages facing similar concerns.
We participated in an interesting collaboration with BLOT! to design an ultimate gaming machine mash-up. The PUMA sponsored project was an exercise in up-cycling and repurposing parts, in a project terms "Long Live the Pool Table"
The Ultimate Gaming Machine was intended to speak to an emerging user who has schizophrenic interests, diversely ranging from Music and Video-art, to poetry and retro-gaming. We built in all these components into the mash-up machine.
The machine created varied formats for passers-by to interact with it, including a never-ending poem on a typewriter. The new-age pool table format was intended to be symbolic of an evolution in the communal gaming scene
