This project is a collaboration with reputed Singapore based design practice - WOHA. The Master plan integrates the idea towers with different personalities within a park which offers variety of open spaces where the residents can interact with each other in and with nature. For the first two towers , the concept is a series of vertical stacks of sky pavilions varying in height. Each stack of pavilions terminates at the top to form a beacon which is designed to look like a lantern. Towers 3 and 4 are a complimentary pair of towers, but are different in their architectural expression. They are similar in plan, however corner planes are convex for tower 3 and concave for tower 4. In both cases these convex and concave surfaces are perforated screens to provide natural light and ventilation to spaces like lift lobbies, kitchens and toilets. Behind the glazed surfaces are the habitable rooms of the apartments. These areas are treated with horizontal timber filigree for tower 3 and vertical champagne gold fins for tower 4 thus providing shading. This fourth tower is the tallest in the group and its form is of a sculptural faceted gem.
The parking component is a large part of the program. Here idea is to transform the large functional carpark amenity into a green feature for the project. The Podium has the personality of the hill/ headlands and has stepping planters , lantern like elements and projecting pavilions inspired from the hill top fortresses found in india.
