The India Show 2015 held from 25th to 27th August 2015 at the Eko Exhibition Centre in Nigeria emerges out as an outstanding initiative of Indian Government to ensure effective promotion of India as a Brand and various Indian industries across overseas. This particular show was organized by the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) in collaboration with the Higher Commissions of India as well as Nigeria along with the kind support of Department of Commerce under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Indian Government.
The major motive behind the organization of this event is to ensure significant promotion of India brands and Industries in countries where emerging demands of Indian technologies and products is increasing.
Nigeria, being the most densely inhabited nation of Africa with the huge population of more than 175 million, has made India as their second largest partner for trading. However, for India, Nigeria is counted as the largest partner for trading in Africa. Various renowned Indian companies have created their remarkable footprints in the nation of Nigeria with their highly sustainable investments. This has consequently resulted in the effective emergence of Nigeria as the fastest growing economy of the world over the past few years. The average annual growth of the nation distinctively counts on 6.7 percent due to their highly ambitious agenda of reforms.
