In direct contrast to projects such as Belvedere Court where space was abundant, tight planning formed the basis of design for this complex that included a clubhouse and a swimming pool. The odd shaped plot and severe setback requirements left us with a long, narrow strip of usable land for the stilt plus a twelve storey building which was to house 192 apartments. Balconies of various depths and heights create interesting forms and planes on the facade, further accentuated by bright coloured tile cladding. An independent sculptural wall at the ground floor level emphasizes the four entrances. The sculptural elevation creates visual interest and breaks the length of the building. The swimming pool and clubhouse are a graphic and vibrant part of the complex.
