The Usha Kiran Palace was originally built as a guest house by the Gwalior royalty. The palace is now a 39 room heritage hotel. The interiors of the hotel are inspired by an eclectic mix of Indian and western styles that characterise the royal residences.
The Radha Mahal has been renovated and extended to incorporate a swimming pool, health club and spa.
In 2005 two villas were built in the palace grounds. Concealed behind turfed mounds, the villas are private havens that look inwards into landscaped courts.
