For SmarTone, the Hong Kong-based mobile company, quality of service correlates directly to the quality of the call centre. When the firm established its first such facility in Guangzhou seven years ago, they accordingly collaborated closely with M Moser Associates to create an environment in which solutions to human, business and technological needs 'dovetail' smoothly into a coherent whole. As well as directly improving productivity, the resulting workplace also boosted SmarTone's ability to retain experienced staff in the volatile Guangzhou market.
More recently, with the call centre's move to a different floor in the same building, SmarTone found the opportunity to further refine the concept. Once again, the firm called upon M Moser to both design and execute this crucial 2,094 sq-m space which adds a few new twists to the template of its successful predecessor.
