The 15 -storey development proposal accommodates a bank on the ground and mezzanine floor with the remaining floors as high end apartments.
The studio took cues from the baysiclo location; developed the body of the building based on views and climatic orientation. The central vertical circulation in the form of two canted concrete masts holds up the slightly shifting floor plates of the apartments.
The building is detailed with a dual facade. The inner glass face is shaded by the outer flush faced roller shutter sun screenings; which gives a nautical expression; ever changing composition echoing a sense of its location.
