The design intent is to establish a vocabulary in harmony with the project requirements, site conditions and climatic constraints. The intention is to evolve functionally efficient buildings, which, in their architectural expression are "understated yet elegant". To meet the functional requirements of the design brief a variation of a "H" shaped plan is proposed with a central circulation and services core and 2 wings for each building. This arrangement ensures that though floor plates are moderately large, they can be articulated and scaled appropriately. The finishes proposed for the envelope are Solar Control double glazing meeting ECBC norms and synthetic plaster textured finish with minimal Aluminium Composite Panel cladding for the non-glazed areas. Maximum area of glazing to the office areas are provided on the North and South facades to minimize heat gain, and on the West/ East the glazed openings are provided with integral sun-shading features as part of the building's architectural design. Support/ Service areas are located on the East and West as a buffer.
