The sleek new Hyderabad Airport is India's first private airport was conceived as part of the CAS consortium. The LEED rated Green Design provides a customer friendly ambience, minimum queuing time and an expansive duty free area. The accent is on visibility and visual connectivity at all times. The design involved the creation of a master plan for a 40 million capacity Airport Complex. The task included the design of a passenger terminal building, cargo & logistics complex, an air traffic control tower, maintenance facilities and the airside (runways, aprons, fire stations and radars) and landside development on 21 sq.km. of land.
