The plush and the inviting ambiance of this home have the tenderness and the richness of French country home. The lower level of the house hosts the entertainment and service areas leading to the bedrooms & study on the upper storey, connected via a classical open wooden staircase.
The living room is tastefully done up with chesterfield sofa to tiffany French lamps, and gold stucco walls. The dining area uses dark wood with Italian leather upholstery. The sit-out has a rustic feel creating a contrast in the free flowing space. Local craftsmanship has been explored in the intricate wooden furniture. The bedrooms have been done tastefully to suit the users requirements.
The greatest challenge of this project for an architect of his stature was to convince his family to accept the beauty of a country home against the prevalent modern minimalistic approach.
