Nagalok is a sacred precinct for the search for enlightenment. It is a place of the Buddha. It is a place for the thoughts, for his followers and for the Sangha. It is a place for all human beings who are open to personal search, inquiry and questioning. Inspired by Dr. Ambedkar and his guru Sangharakshita, Dharmachari Lokamitra founded the Trilokya Bauddha Maha Shayak Gana trust to impart development skills and to provide a path toward the achievement of enlightenment. The layout and the structures on this site and, within this sacred precinct, are vehicles for the achievement of the trust's mission. They are places for self discovery, for inspiration, for the exchange of knowledge, for reading, for contemplation, and for meditation. The activities of the trust take place through discourse, teaching, motivated introspection, constructive debate, guided questioning and free floating thought. Nagalok is a place for beautiful, intimate companionship. As a composition is promotes right thinking and right behavior and right livelihood. The central focus is a statue of the Buddha. A statue of Dr. Ambedkar commemorates his role in leading many to spiritual enlightenment and to a correct path. Composed as a sacred garden, there are The Buddha's Statue, The Dhama Hall, The Meditation Hall, Community Living Quarters, a men's and a women's Dharmashala, an administration building, a catering facility and sanitary facilities. All of the structures are of exposed brick, brick vaults, long span concrete shells and Kota stone.
