Every meal at Mediterra - the roof top restaurant in Sayaji Hotel, Indore, India, assumes a whole new meaning for the connoisseur.
The theme for the design of this restaurant was conceptualized around the ancient belief of the five elements of nature - air, water, fire, earth, space: which provides balance and structure to the world. SSA used all these elements in their design.
The interiors reflect the rich tradition of Mediterranean culture and are crafted to celebrate a memorable dining experience. The emphasis on use of colour and character are native in the Mediterranean belt.
The easily identifiable are the bold earth colour, namely yellow, orange & red. Moorish influenzed star patterns, the geometric repetition of the pattern, the layered motif partition and symmetrical prints, all with an emphasis on cleaner, more linear presentation makes the restaurant both, unique and charming.
From the handmade lanterns to the fire pits, the attention to detail is evident.
