The event sited in Kochi, Kerala, [ God's Own Country ] is host to the upcoming Biennale Event , namely the Kochi-Muziris Biennale . Kerala, India is a breathtaking state braided with natural water bodies and flanked by the Arabian Sea on the west coast. It is also famous for its "back waters" and is a favorite with tourists [international and Pan Indian ].The Biennale Foundation Head Office is sited in Mumbai. The Office Design explores "water droplet" skin / screen formations. These screens articulate the larger "quad cluster- work space" organization. The space is defined by three quad work-clusters [a] Co-ordinators [b] Managers [c] Interns. A conference and a Bar / Cafe complete the programmatic requirements besides ancillary services spaces. The water droplets were tested in 3D real-time environments, tweaking parameters such as viscosity, friction, surface tension etc. These "digitally" designed pieces were digitally fabricated using ABS. ABS's light weight and ability to be injection molded, extruded was explored in the design and manufacture of the blob skin.
