Challenge :
To make optimal use of the narrow and odd shaped site so as to achieve maximum permissible FSI and plan every unit in adherence to VASTU. Every unit should be ensured with maximum possible privacy and optimal natural lighting and ventilation.

Solution :
The proposed project is envisaged as parallel inter connected rectilinear buildings with a profile sympathetic to the existing site profile. Every unit in this project is individually crafted so as to achieve maximum spatial efficiency and VASTU compliance. The core design and clustering is done in such a manner to provide for enhanced privacy and optimal natural lighting and ventilation. The resultant large number of typologies provides an opportunity for a mixed community thereby dissolving the stratification of people, a phenomenon peculiar to the metropolitan cities. The common amenities such as the club house and the swimming pool are integrated within the residential block in the first floor and stilt respectively, with the former overlooking the later.

Result :
A contemporary Urban structure, articulated as a rhythmic play of solids and voids accentuated by colours, with a wide range of VASTU compliant unit types. The units are designed such that it gives a feel of spaciousness in spite of the dense development. Kalpavriksha as a project provided to enhance the brand value of the promoter as it incorporated all the essentials needed to satisfy the needs of a wide range of customers.
