After closing the 2016 edition on 17th February, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival will open doors its doors next in 2017 between 4th and 12th February.
With a kaleidoscope of music, dance, theatre, literature, food, street stalls, cinema, workshops, visual arts, urban design and architecture and heritage walks in store, the Festival will continue to present a melange of arts for the city to savour.
- The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is a community celebration of the arts within one of the most beautiful and historic precincts of Mumbai, The Kala Ghoda Art District.
- It is open to all, free of charge.
- The Festival has grown exponentially, and is hugely successful, drawing over 150,000 people from all over the city. KGAF 2016 hosted over 600 events across 12 days.
- Funds raised from the festival go towards the restoration and upkeep of the area. Several heritage buildings and institutions in the area have benefited from this.
