The site is strategically located on an elbow junction reaping benefits of extensive frontage for every shop when aligned coherently. While doing so handling the narrow allies and avoiding the dense look, were few issues to be tackled.
The edifice has all the characters of an Art-Deco building. The surface treatment, the design elements and even the site location are style specific. It's a period building which was sensitively restored to its roots. The stone was replaced by matching paint maintaining the same look. Ground plus three floors with a common lobby, along with the basement was the scope of renovation. The vertical lobby space was filled in with a drop down gorgeous chandelier, customized with hand-picked crystal beads picked from Gujarat and its interiors. A steel heavy pendant suspends the entire string of hand-sewn beads of alternating copper and silver. The concept was immaculately crafted by artists and technicians and arranged in a gradual ascending order. The lobbies are spectacular vistas in glass or such reflective materials to break the monotony of long passages.
The interiors are in stark contrast to the exterior restoration of the art deco facade, intentionally to make them contemporary for today's customer. Individual shop is provided with a street frontage for maximum customer visibility.
