Nestled amongst the most upscale area of Bangalore, this concept world store for HP is conceived for a reconfigurable store, characterized by different modulation of a single element, a CURVE.
If you enter HP world in the city of Bangalore, you ask yourself, has the interior perhaps been taken from some fantasy film. The all pervasive organic forms catch the eye.
The shop is created by curved compositions, specifically designed to adapt to different dimensional products. The same unit is used for the table, desk counter, storage, lighting system etc.
The differentiated space dimensions appear to become one, transforming it into a game where user's sight shifts from an object to another discovering the inside.
The world concept store had to be both entertaining and seductive, had to stimulate all the senses without being loud and vulgar.
The shop as a stage
The entire concept of developing an unprecedented design by fresh approach that tablets and palmtops are fashion accessories today. Very exciting and experimental approaches to shop design can be observed.
This is also a response to internet commerce: over-the-counter businesses must be able to do more today than sell products; that is to say, they must also take the haste out of buying and offer a good experience and entertainment. Going out to shop is no longer a vital necessity, but a leisure activity.
