The non-invasive project preserved the original appearance of the factory, in particular the principal facades, the monumental staircase, and the octagonal entrance with its polychromatic marbles, remaining just as they were. Its dominant characteristic is the intense brightness of the environment, contrasted by the muted tones of the furnishings and decor in tonalities of copper, platinum, and titanium.
Wide windows mark the interior. Visitors enjoy panoramic views of Genoa from the terrace. Just as for the Golden Palace in Turin, we envisioned the interior design of Bentley.
The 99 rooms are spread out among six floors. The suites are located on the sixth floor and feature panoramic terraces overlooking the city while the 100 square metre presidential suite features a terrace equipped with a hydro massage pool and views of the sea.
Just as in the common spaces, the rooms are furnished with furniture designed expressly for the hotel, with stylistic lines that express refinement in the quality of the materials chosen and for their formal synthesis. Oak parquet installed in a fishbone pattern was utilized for the flooring to warm and enrich the luminous surroundings of the rooms. Comfort and exclusivity were principal inspirations of the project. The original tones of the marbles, Alpine greens and travertine for the principal facades, were clarified while the plastered parts were repainted with the original colours.
