Nanded has small linear concession with a compact cross sectional profile running all along the length of the concession area. Internal space is flanked by auditorium entrances on right & blank wall on right, slab sloping down from left to right.
Entire space appears to be a very long and narrow corridor with the space being divided by the intermediate columns & raker beams aligned with them.
Due to the dimensions of the space, ceiling design becomes of utmost importance. It has been designed as a combination of two cross sectional profiles running at different levels. Both ceiling profiles appear to be clasping each other forming an undulating terrain like pattern.
The same ceiling profiles trace themselves on floor differentiated by means of finishing of the flooring material. Few of these lines take shape of a kiosk and appear to have been pulled down from the ceiling. Kiosks area treated with bright orange DUCO finish, the color being consistent with the brand identity for Fun Cinema. It doubles to add up playfulness to the space. Our design uses the blank wall on left as mural wall with a central band housing poster boxes with a multilayered pattern in MDF running from start to end of the concessions lit by cove lights in the central band, turning with an offset to become the concession counter. Concession counter is housed towards the end of the linear lobby formed by the same visual lines running along the left wall of the lobby in form of poster box band.
