In Cinemas, Height is always a concern to be tacked with innovation and variety. With Natraj, concessions were constrained by the space available because of the varied heights of the cinema slab above. The challenge was to utilize maximum height, also considering services layout running above and kind of occupancy being held at available space.
Concept revolves around an envelope, which discreetly wraps itself along the walls, columns, ceiling, and itself creating an illusion of horizontal depth and volume. The veneer lamina, which never stops to transform itself, encapsulates the entire volume along with the intricate services, thus giving a feel of "one of a kind" experience.
Special importance is given to the lighting design, which plays a key role in creating a drama within the space and relieving out the entire shell volume. The veneer cladded lamina is highlighted with diffused LED lighting. Overall, the concession lobby boast of a varied use of materials such as artificial stone flooring, veneers, corian counters, Stainless steel, travertino seating etc.
