The Mall defines the Gateway to the large residential development and endeavors to reinvent itself as a public place. The approach to the mall is uncluttered with parking and takes form as a well landscaped urban plaza. The different facade edges of the mall are treated according to the visibility of that face. At the highly visible and prominent Corner, a Stone clad clock tower acts as a visual marker on the highway and establishes Mall identity. Horizontals bands with light box strips facing the fast moving vehicular traffic face the highway, while Projecting fins for back lit signage facing the approach on the residential project. Here the facade is designed to be more responsive to human scale. The main entrance Canopy is supported on with tree like supports. This Tree form also inspires the Leaf shaped profile of the steel and tensile fabric roof of the large central atrium.
