2016 marks the 14th year of Australia's longest running design competition, VIVID (Vibrant Visions in Design). Continuing to shine a spotlight on some of the most dynamic emerging Australian designers.

Design Bazaar
DESIGN:Bazaar and WALL ST is the latest platform from Decor + Design to foster and grow developing independent studios. A feature created for small studios, who are producing micro production runs with original design work.

AIFF loves Homemade
Co-located with Decor + Design is the Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF). New for 2016 is AIFF loves Homemade - this is a dedicated area at the front of the exhibition to grow and foster Australian based furniture, cabinet and joinery designers and makers.

Trends Champagne Lounge
A great place to relax, discuss emerging designers, do business and nurture creativity. The 2015 lounge featured a nautical Scandinavian theme giving visitors and exhibitors an informal networking space at the show. We are currently looking into design ideas for the 2016 lounge, so stay tuned!
New feature in the Champagne Lounge is The Trend Hub.
The Trend Hub is a dedicated area within the Champagne Lounge where visitors will be inspired by interactive design-led activity & future design trend information. Interior Designers will be able to take advantage of the free future trend information and also network with exhibitors or peers.

Daily Trend Tours
Join Futurists, Victoria Redshaw & Phil Pond, as they take you on a tour of the show floor. The tours will begin with a short overview of the 2016 and 2017 trend boards displayed in the Trends Champagne Bar. They will then head out onto the show floor to reveal the products that bring the trends to life. This "working" tour lets you see the show through their eyes and benefit from their trend forecasting expertise and special picks from the show.

The 2016 International Seminar Series, sponsored by Australian House and Garden is celebrating Australian design and examining the industry's future trends and hot topics. The all-star seminar line-up brings together international and Australian design experts to discuss their work, design inspirations and share perspectives around the theme: 'Global-local inspiration'.
