Client: Public Works Department, Government Of Maharashtra

Project Duration: Jan-2009 - Jan-2012

Built in 1833, this Grade I heritage building is among Mumbai's oldest public buildings, having served as its Town Hall, Court, as well as University Hall before the Victorian structures were built to house them. Today, it houses the Asiatic Library and the Central Library, a repository of rare books and artefacts. The project involved structural consolidation of the roof, structural repairs and facade restoration of the Neo Classical building which is an icon of Mumbai.
